Toronto-based social intelligence company Sysomos on Wednesday announced the acquisition of image recognition and machine learning platform, gazeMetrix for an undisclosed sum. This acquisition will enable Sysomos expand into image recognition. Founded in 2012 by Deobrat Singh, Saurab Paruthi and Debayan Banerjee, gazeMetrix was also a part of 500 Startups’ Fall 2012 batch.
