Ahmedabad-based energy company Torrent Power is in talks to buy clean power projects totalling 1.1 gigawatts from ReNew Energy Global at an enterprise value of around $1.2 billion, Mint reported. As per the report, Torrent has submitted a non-binding offer (NBO) for ReNew's solar and wind power assets of 350 megawatts and 750 megawatts, respectively, at a $450-million equity value.
