Toshiba ended its 74-year history as a listed company after it was delisted from the Tokyo Stock Exchange on Wednesday. A consortium led by Japan Industrial Partners (JIP) took the Japanese maker of electronics, batteries, chips, and nuclear and defence equipment company private. Toshiba was taken private following a decade of scandals that included accounting malpractices.
