As per latest reports, Toshiba President Hisao Tanaka is expected to resign to take responsibility for an accounting scandal. The Tokyo-based conglomerate has allegedly overstated around $1.6 billion in its group operating profits over a five-year period ending in March 2014. A decision on the resignation will be finalized after the submission of a report by a third-party investigation panel.
