Tourist dies after wild elephant attacks group in Kerala

A 52-year-old tourist, Bushara, died after a wild elephant attacked a group that entered the Bhavani River near Thekkuvatta in Kerala's Attappadi. Forest officials had warned the group about the elephant, but they reportedly stayed to watch it. Bushara suffered severe injuries, including losing a finger, and died despite emergency treatment at a hospital in Thavalam.
