The flow of tourists to Amritsar has declined by about 40 per cent amid a scarcity of LPG refills in the wake of supply disruptions caused by the conflict in West Asia. Harinder Singh, chairman of Federation of Hotels and Guest Houses Association, said about 60 per cent rooms in nearly 2,000 hotels were unoccupied due to the war.
