Tourist’s photo helps discover 120-mn-yr-old dinosaur footprints in Thailand

A Thai tourist's photograph of unusual marks near a stream led to the discovery of six dinosaur footprints dating back around 120 million years in Udon Thani province. The tourist, Pichai Prathetsena, spotted the impressions at Phu Phrabat National Park and shared them on Facebook. Thailand's Department of Mineral Resources confirmed they likely belonged to meat-eating theropod dinosaurs.
