Videos circulating online showed tourists abandoning their vehicles near the Atal Tunnel outside Manali after heavy snowfall and ice formation on roads triggered traffic jams on the second consecutive day. Many tourists are leaving their vehicles behind and choosing to walk from the Atal Tunnel down towards Solang Nallah, NDTV reported. Over 1,000 vehicles have been stranded in the region.
