As per a former liquor smuggler, typically, ingredients that go into making hooch include lahan, fruits, coarse jaggery, yeast extracted from local plants, wild berries, pears, apricot and peaches; unfiltered river/pond water, methanol, and even lizards, frogs for extra kick.
