With 2.52 million sales globally in Jan-March period this year, Japanese company Toyota Motor Corp has retained its top position in global vehicle sales, according to data released on Thursday. It was followed by German company Volkswagen Group (2.49 million sales) and American company General Motors (2.4 million). Toyota has been the world' top-selling automaker for the past three years.
