Indian Railways has revised its cancellation rules for confirmed tickets. Passengers cancelling tickets more than 72 hours before departure will receive maximum refund, with only a flat cancellation charge per passenger applied. For cancellations made between 72 hours and 24 hours, 25% of the fare will be deducted, subject to the minimum charge.
