Anjali Lama became the first transgender model to walk at the Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW). Anjali walked the runway for Indian fashion designer Monisha Jaising, who opened the fashion week's Summer/Resort 2017 onboard a luxury cruise in Mumbai. Anjali, who is originally from Nepal, wore an embellished gown in gold by the designer for the show.
