Transgender persons block roads, assault locals & cops in UP; held

Police arrested five transgender persons in UP's Jhansi after members of rival groups staged high-drama protest near Police Lines, halting traffic for over an hour. The protest, stemming from an ongoing territorial dispute over work areas, saw them remove their clothes, shout slogans and block the road using police barricades. In viral videos, they were seen hitting cops and locals.
