SRH opener Travis Head has broken the record for smashing most boundaries in powerplay in an IPL season. Head has slammed 74 boundaries in powerplay in IPL 2024. He broke the 15-year-old record held by Adam Gilchrist. Gilchrist had slammed 72 boundaries while representing Deccan Chargers in IPL 2009.
