Mumbai Metro Line 9 is scheduled to begin trial runs this week, after successful energisation of overhead traction wires. CM Devendra Fadnavis is expected to inaugurate the trial run. Metro Line 9, an extension of Red Line 7, will stretch from Dahisar to Mira-Bhayandar. The 13.581-km-long line includes elevated (11.386 km) and underground (2.195 km) sections, eventually featuring 10 stations.
