A tribal woman from Odisha's Koraput district has been arrested after she, in an intoxicated state, slit the throat of her three-year-old son. Police claimed the accused had a raucous celebration of the Chaiti festival with her husband and neighbours with heavy drinking and feasts. The next day, she came to her senses and started repenting her crime, police added.
