Director Vasan Bala said that he tried to make his debut film 'Peddlers' under ₹60 lakh. "There was no money so we painted the same wall again and again," he added. "When you are desperate to tell a story and have no resources, these are the cinema hacks which one uses," Vasan further said. 'Peddlers' was released in 2012.
