Tripura, Mizoram hold 1st meeting over inter-state border dispute

Tripura and Mizoram held their first meeting on Thursday to discuss their long-running inter-state border dispute, marking an initial effort to resolve the issue through dialogue. The dispute centres on Phuldungsei village, located in the hills along the Tripura-Mizoram border, and is claimed by both states. Tripura CM Manik Saha said officials from both states attended the preliminary meeting.
