Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha announced that the state has achieved an 80 percent reduction in patient referrals due to major improvements in healthcare services. Speaking at an International Nurses Day event in Agartala, he highlighted new initiatives including a medical university, super-specialty hospitals, a medical college, and an eye hospital to strengthen healthcare within the state.
