Tripura issues notices to 19 unregistered rehab centres

The Tripura State Mental Health Authority has issued show-cause notices to 19 private rehabilitation centres for allegedly operating without mandatory registration and failing to meet standards under the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017. The centres have been given seven days to respond. Officials warned that failure to comply or take corrective measures could invite action under the Act.
