Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha said the state is upgrading Agartala Government Medical College and GBP Hospital into a leading medical, research and super-speciality centre in Northeast India. He highlighted better healthcare infrastructure, expanding medical education, successful kidney transplants, and plans to introduce liver and heart transplant services in the coming years.
