TRS leader Tammineni Krishnaiah was hacked to death by assailants in Telangana's Khammam on Monday. The 55-year-old politician, who was murdered shortly after hoisting the tricolour, had recently switched to the TRS from CPI(M). Notably, Telangana CPI(M) Secretary Thammineni Veerabhadram, who happens to be Krishnaiah's cousin, has been accused by his relatives of orchestrating the crime.
