Truecaller on Wednesday announced that it has appointed Rishit Jhunjhunwala as the Managing Director for its India operations. Jhunjhunwala, who has been the Chief Product Officer since 2020, will continue to handle this role as well. Jhunjhunwala had joined Truecaller in 2015 as Vice President of Product. The caller identifier app has around 20 crore active users in India.
