US Federal Election Commission (FEC) Commissioner and Chair Ellen L Weintraub received a letter from US President Donald Trump purporting to remove her. Sharing the purported termination letter on X, she wrote, "There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been lucky to serve the American people & stir up some good trouble...That's not changing anytime soon."
