US President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to reveal that he held a telephonic conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin before meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at his Florida resort. Trump described the call with Putin as “very productive.” After meeting Zelenskyy, Trump said that an agreement to end the Russia-Ukraine war is “a lot closer.”
