US President Donald Trump left Pakistan out while naming countries facilitating the US-Iran talks, unlike on previous occasions. "We're talking at the request of Iran, backed by Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar," Trump said without naming Pakistan. Separately, retired US General Jack Keane accused Pakistan of being "compromised" as a mediator and favouring Iran "at the expense of the US."
