Former US President Donald Trump's business firm, The Trump Organization had sought stake in Parler, a social media site popular among far-right conservatives, reported BuzzFeed. The report added that the negotiations were held when Trump was in office and Parler had offered up to 40% stake. Following the US Capitol violence, Parler was dropped from Google and Apple app stores.
