US President Donald Trump was received by Turkish President Recep Erdogan in an official ceremony as he landed in the country on Tuesday to attend the two-day NATO Summit scheduled in the capital, Ankara. Trump also greeted the Guard Regiment in Turkish, saying "Merhaba asker" (Hello soldier). Trump will hold a bilateral meeting with Erdogan, followed by NATO leaders' dinner.
