US President Donald Trump's 'Gold Card', under which applicants can pay $1 million for US residency, has been granted to only one person so far. When Trump debuted the plan in February 2025, his team claimed that 2 lakh people had lined up for the scheme. The identity of that one approved applicant remains unclear.
