US President Donald Trump's spokesperson Karoline Leavitt has been granted Secret Service protection in the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk, according to multiple reports. In 2018, then-Trump spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders was assigned a Secret Service security detail. The assignment was made after Sanders was refused service at a restaurant in Lexington, Virginia.
