US President Donald Trump has skipped Israel in his first tour of Gulf states since assuming office in January. The visit has sparked concerns as reports have claimed that Trump is likely to officially recognise Palestine during the Gulf-US summit, which will be held in Riyadh on May 14. The US, which is Israel's strongest ally, doesn't currently recognise Palestine.
