US President Donald Trump plans to ban the issuance of US visas to those who have worked in fact-checking, content moderation, compliance, or online safety, reports said, quoting a State Department memo. The Trump administration has asked consular officials not to issue visas to anyone who was "responsible for censorship of protected expression in the US".
