US President Donald Trump on Tuesday asserted that the US must have one federal standard for regulating artificial intelligence (AI). "Overregulation by the states is threatening to undermine this growth engine," he wrote on social media. The 79-year-old added that in the absence of a single federal AI standard, China will "easily catch" the US in the AI race.
