Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday held a review meeting on the left-wing extremism situation in Chhattisgarh, reiterating that the country will be completely free of Naxalism by 2026. He appealed to youths who have strayed onto the path of Naxalism to lay down their arms and surrender. "Trust the government and join the mainstream of society," he added.
