The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre has issued a tsunami warning late on Thursday after a 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck 68 kilometers to the southwest of Solomon Islands in the Pacific Ocean. "Widespread, hazardous" tsunami waves are expected to impact the Hawaii Islands at 06:26 AM IST, the tsunami warning agency said.
