Maharashtra FDA chief Tukaram Mundhe, who is leading a crackdown against unhygienic food, got a standing ovation at an event in Pune. A video of the same has surfaced online. The crackdown launched by Mundhe has led to the suspension of the licenses of several iconic restaurants in Mumbai. A 2005-batch IAS officer, Mundhe has been transferred over 20 times.
