Tukaram Mundhe highlighted pricing gaps in hospital care, saying many medical devices and consumables remain outside strict price controls. He said Maharashtra’s findings were sent to the Department of Pharmaceuticals and NPPA, along with recommendations to limit the gap between trade prices and MRPs and improve price transparency for patients.
