Turkey on Sunday condemned a decision by a European Union court to allow employers to ban staff from wearing Muslim headscarves under certain conditions as a "clear violation of religious freedoms". The court had ruled that companies can ban employees from wearing a headscarf if they need to do so to project an image of neutrality to customers.
