Turkish Health Ministry on Friday said the country reported 1,11,157 new daily COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, highest since the pandemic began. The ministry added that 248 people died due to COVID-19 in the same 24-hour period logging the highest daily death toll since last October. Meanwhile, over 88,000 people have died due to COVID-19 in Turkey so far.
