Turkey's annual inflation reached a new 24-year high of 83.45% in September, official data showed. Turkish Statistical Institute said that consumer prices increased by 3.08% from the last month. Turkey's inflation has surged following cuts to the policy rate by the central bank. The bank cut its policy rate by 200 basis points to 12% in the last two months.
