Kannada television actor Manjula, popularly known by her screen name Shruthi, was allegedly stabbed and beaten by her husband Amareesh at their Bengaluru home on July 5, reports said on Friday. Amareesh allegedly stabbed her multiple times on her neck, ribs and thigh and dragged her by the hair, reports said. He has been arrested while Manjula is receiving treatment.
