TVK has written to Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, requesting him to invite party chief Vijay to form the government, multiple reports stated. TVK has also reportedly sought two weeks to prove its majority. TVK has emerged as the single largest party with 108 seats in state Assembly elections, but fell short of the majority mark of 118 seats.
