At least seven people were killed, and three others were injured in two roadside bomb explosions in Pakistan's northwestern Bannu district on Saturday, officials said. Police said the first blast targeted a passenger vehicle using a remote-controlled device, while a second explosion occurred nearby shortly afterwards. Police described the attacks as a "cowardly act of terrorism".
