Micro-blogging website Twitter on Tuesday appointed former Facebook Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Bret Taylor to its Board of Directors. Taylor, who is the Co-founder and the current CEO of the mobile word processing company 'Quip', is best-known as one of the founders of social networking startup 'FriendFeed', which was acquired by Facebook in 2009.
