Elon Musk-owned Twitter has removed the restrictions which required users to log in to view tweets, multiple reports said. Earlier, Musk had called the restrictions a "temporary emergency measure" and said, "We were getting data pillaged so much that it was degrading service for normal users." Twitter's move comes amid the launch of text-based app Threads by Mark Zuckerberg's Meta.
