Jack Dorsey, who co-founded Twitter in 2006 and has previously also served as its CEO, lost Twitter blue tick after the platform removed all legacy verification checkmarks on Thursday. Several other public figures, including Bill Gates, also lost the checkmark after not buying Twitter Blue subscription. Notably, Dorsey launched his Twitter-rival Bluesky on Android on Thursday.
