Twitter CEO Elon Musk told employees in an email, "Any manager who falsely claims that someone reporting to them is doing excellent work or that a given role is essential...will be exited." He said employees can work remotely if their managers vouch for excellence. "If not logistically possible or they've essential personal matters, then staying home is fine," Musk added.
