Twitter removes locked accounts from follower counts

Twitter will start removing locked accounts from follower counts across profiles globally, the micro-blogging site announced. Twitter locks accounts over suspicious activities, which then require the user changing the account password. "We understand this may be hard for some, but we believe accuracy and transparency make Twitter a more trusted service for public conversation," the blog post read.
