Twitter on Saturday announced it would soon impose a daily limit on the number of DMs (direct messages) unverified accounts can send. The change will be implemented "to reduce spam in direct messages", Twitter said. Last week, the platform also introduced a setting that allows users to limit their direct message inbox to only verified users and people they follow.
