Twitter to make June 19 permanent holiday in US to support racial diversity

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said Twitter and Square will be making June 19, also called 'Juneteenth', a permanent company-wide holiday in the US to show support for racial diversity. June 19 commemorates the US abolition of slavery by President Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation. Dorsey added Twitter would make dates that celebrate emancipation in other countries company holidays there.
